[I’ve also been to Morocco, Tunisia and the USA]
As a frequent and passionate traveller, coming to terms with the COVID-19 restrictions was extremely tough. I was forced to cancel multiple trips and all future travel plans were in limbo but I found myself reflecting on trips from the past; looking at photos and savouring the moments and experiences I had been lucky to have.
However, I travelled to Iceland in July 2020 and, thanks to Take a Break Travel, I managed to travel to Morocco in March 2021, which is like a planet of its own with its diverse idiosyncrasy, beautiful landscapes, ancient traditions, incredible friendly people, wonderful views and a combination of traditional and modern practices, a country not only to visit but to praise most highly. I also visited Wroclaw in Poland for a few days for my birthday in June 2021 and did a one-week road trip around Ireland the following September.
Where to next?
I managed to visit Morocco for a second time in October 2021, and then Croatia at the end of that year, followed by a four-day trip to Tunisia, my 46th country, last June. I’ve also just returned from my second visit to Turkey. I’m going for a few days to Paris and Bordeaux soon before hopefully visiting Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina some time next year.
