[I’ve also been to Morocco, Tunisia and the USA]
As a frequent and passionate traveller, coming to terms with the COVID-19 restrictions has been extremely tough. I have been forced to cancel multiple trips and all future travel plans are in limbo. In the meantime, I’ve found myself reflecting on trips from the past; looking at photos and savouring the moments and experiences I have been lucky to have.
However, I travelled to Iceland in July 2020 and, thanks to Take a Break Travel, I managed to travel to Morocco in March 2021, which is like a planet of its own with its diverse idiosyncrasy, beautiful landscapes, ancient traditions, incredible friendly people, wonderful views and a combination of traditional and modern practices, a country not only to visit but to praise most highly. I also visited Wroclaw in Poland for a few days for my birthday in June 2021 and did a one-week road trip around Ireland in September.
Where to next?
I managed to visit Morocco for a second time last October and Croatia at the end of the year. And I’ve just returned from Tunisia, my 46th country! It’s difficult to plan where I’m off to next but I hope to visit Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina in the near future. Stay tuned to this blog for all my latest posts, tips and photos!
