During my travel adventures in Europe and beyond, I have been fortunate to discover the awe-inspiring beauty of different cultures and landscapes. From vibrant cities to tranquil countryside, each destination has left an indelible mark on my heart.
One of my most unforgettable experiences was in Europe, where I explored the charming streets of Amsterdam. The city’s picturesque canals, lined with breathtaking architecture, provided the perfect backdrop for leisurely walks and bicycle rides.
Heading further east, I explored the rich cultural tapestry of Turkey. From the awe-inspiring Hagia Sophia in Istanbul to the surreal landscapes of Cappadocia, every corner of this enchanting country had a story to tell. I meandered through the ancient Basilica Cistern and lost myself in the bustling bazaars, indulging in delicious kebabs and aromatic Turkish tea.
Beyond Europe, my travels took me to the majestic wonders of Africa. I marvelled at the ancient Egyptian pyramids, feeling an overwhelming sense of awe at the engineering marvels that stood before me. The Moroccan cities of Marrakech and Fes engulfed me in a vibrant concoction of colours, scents, and sounds, transporting me into an entirely different world.
My European adventures have left me with a deep appreciation for the continent’s rich history, diverse cultures, and captivating landscapes, and I look forward to exploring more of its treasures in the future.
Where to next?
I’ve just returned from a 6-day trip in the United Arab Emirates. My plans for the rest of this year will hopefully include the Jordan, Switzerland, Greece (Athens in particular), Madeira and the Faroe Islands so stay tuned to this blog for all my latest posts, tips and photos!
