Derry/Londonderry was one of the highlights of my Northern Ireland trip. I spent an afternoon exploring its historic city walls, St Columb’s Cathedral, the Bogside murals, Free Derry Corner, the Bloody Sunday Monument, Guildhall, Ebrington Square and the Peace Bridge, discovering a city where history is part of everyday life.
