Saint-Émilion is a medieval wine-village located a 45-minute drive away from the city Bordeaux in France. Some of the best wines in the world are produced in Saint-Émilion and it’s one of the largest wine regions in Bordeaux. But even if you don’t consider yourself a wine connoisseur you should put Saint-Émilion at the top of your bucket list for France.
Exquisite architecture, fresh seafood, a vibrant city with a historic core, and some of the best wine in the world—in a nutshell, this is Bordeaux, France. Even better, the whole city is highly walkable, with pedestrian-only areas and welcoming squares. In less than an hour, you can also visit the beach or make your way to castle-like chateaux producing superb wine in fairy tale settings.

I am still reeling from my breathtaking trip to Iceland as I just could not seem to get enough of it. My dream is to visit every country in Europe and Iceland was basically one of the last countries I had planned to visit. However, COVID-19 changed my plans so drastically that I ended up visiting Iceland much sooner than I expected to. However, I do not regret it one bit!
Is Vilnius worth visiting? It sure is! There are a wide range of things to do in Vilnius for all visitors and it’s definitely a highlight of any trip to the Baltics. Despite being a city with a small population of just half a million, it’s extraordinarily welcoming. It’s the perfect place to get lost for a few days and a popular stop on the Baltic tour route.
